About Me

People call me The BeachGolfer. Works for me.

I’ve been moving most of my life—different towns, different tides, same pair of shoes. I don’t plan much. Never saw the point. Some folks need schedules and maps; I just need a horizon and enough daylight to reach it.

I travel light. One backpack, one club, and a few beads on my wrist that remind me of where I’ve been. The 5-iron’s not for scorecards—it’s balance. A habit I never broke. Every swing feels the same whether there’s a ball or not.

I like quiet places, small cafés, and people who tell good stories without realizing they’re doing it. I don’t ask many questions. If you stay still long enough, most people tell you what you need to know anyway.

This site started as a way to keep track of the beaches I’ve walked and the people I’ve crossed paths with. What you’re reading are journal entries-written along the way, one place at a time. It’s not about golf, not really. It’s about movement—what you see, what you leave behind, and what you pick up again later.

If you’re reading this, maybe you get it. Maybe you don’t. Either way, you’re welcome here. Pull up a chair, listen to the waves, and stay a while.
